Yesterday we packed up the frisbee and a little picnic and headed to secluded Taylor Bay at the north-east end of Providenciales. As well as being lesser known to the tourists who frequent Grace Bay beach, Taylor Bay has a huge added advantage: the water here is extremely shallow and therefore heats up far more quickly, and so us residents, who have become a bit more ‘sensitive’ to the cooler water at this time of year, can submerge ourselves with far less discomfort (pathetic I know)!
